Data Reporting
Panoni has worked with many systems to pull data into Power BI such as;SQL, Xero, WorkflowMax, Propella, SapbyDesign, Olap Cubes, API’s, Exonet, XML and Excel.
We use either direct links to your database or scrub the data via RStudio and SQL, either on your database or using Azure.
This data can be delivered to Power BI easily for fast and reliable reporting. These reports can be viewed on your Tablet, Phone, and PC. Panoni can write the Power BI reports for you or just host the data.
The big advantage of this is that it can be tailored to your needs. You can set specific dashboards for different groups of staff and not have to worry that they will see all of the financial information. You don’t have to have the “standard reports” delivered up by your Software provider. With the data in SQL or directly into Power BI, we can combine the data from all your different systems so report on one platform.
All your key drivers can link to the financials and for specific KPIs. Specific pages for Finance, Sales, Operations, Boards, and Lenders can be written to suit them so the reports will be up to date when they need it. Complex calculations can be done in the SQL, R or Dax database speeding up the reporting.
With Power BI available on tablets and phones for free, you can see all your data at any time of the day anywhere. There is no excuse from the sales team that they don’t have the data!

Financial

If it is help you need with Banking, Cashflows or Manufacturing we can bring this to the table. Often lenders just want some comfort that the business is going in the right direction. What better way to do this than to have a number of informative reports. If the bank manager thinks you are in control, then you are halfway there.
If the business wants to, it can give access to these reports or tailored reports to the bank, so that the information is always there for the lenders. The last thing a business wants is for a lender to foreclose because the reporting covenants have been missed.
Cashflow
Cashflow is critical to all business. With good data, you can keep on top of your Accounts Receivable and manage daily cashflows to prevent bad debts. Waterfall graphs can often show what and when the shortfalls are likely to land. Good procurement is critical to cashflow and money tied up in stock is just a waste. Again this is an area we can help with.
Manufacturing/Jobbing
The key to this in a small business is understanding your margins and quoting. If the selling price is wrong then it is very hard to make up the shortfall. Understanding the fixed and variable costs will ultimately help in setting the price compared to your competition. We can provide excellent reporting in this area and combine the different data sources to make sense of it all.
